Four generations ago the Candiano family began providing excellent fair food at exceptional values; that tradition continues today (Steven and Erin Candiano are the owners of CanDo Ventures today.) We currently have food and games traveling with Fiesta Shows throughout New England. We also have other stands that we book independently all year long. We offer a variety of food at any given time and are known in the business for the creation of ‘Family Value Meals.’
In 2013 we began managing the Food Court Cafeteria at La Salette Shrine in Attleboro MA. You can find us there from Thanksgiving through New Years.
In 2017 we began operating a large BBQ Saloon. Currently it goes up a couple of times a year but we are looking for other locations. We have mastered the art of BBQ with a little help from our friends and our roasted corn on the cob is to die for!
In 2017 we opened a Pizza Shop on Salisbury Beach. Carmelo's 'PeteZa' & More operates from late April through August. We are generally open from 11am through 9pm though we close on days when the weather is bad. We use our great grandmothers recipe for sauce and people love the pizzas.
In 2018 we purchased a soft serve ice cream which we book throughout the summer. We are always looking for ways to expand our company and we've enjoyed getting in to the Ice Cream business.
In 2020 we could no longer travel with the carnival or play any fairs due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It became time to try something new. We have always wanted to expand our BBQ services and have long wanted to cater private events. This year we are doing both. Through the kindness and grace of Kevin Hatem of Seabrook tire we are able to set up a ‘Sundae BBQ’ on his property located at 58 Lafayette rd. (rt 1) We are serving from 11am to 8pm on both Saturdays and Sundays. We hope to see you on the weekends and wish that you would consider us for your next BBQ or other event.
In 2021 the carnival and fair season resumed and we moved the BBQ operation out on the the road.
In 2023 we chose not to open Carmelo's 'PeteZa' and focus our time together out on the road. We'll put the BBQ up more often and get to enjoy each others company full time.
In 2023 we sold the ice cream. We've no plans to buy another but may consider buying a mobile pizza stand for the road. Stay tuned.
We wash, paint, inspect and maintain all of our equipment regularly to make sure it is in tip top shape. Many of our staff are Food Safe Certified & have Allergen Certifications. All have passed rigorous background checks and several training classes. All of our staff volunteers for regular drug testing.
We are fully licensed and can supply insurance binders, trade, and bank references upon request.
